Come learn the basics of raw food cuisine with me + Thrive Cafe!
I'm super excited to announce that tomorrow I am co-teaching an 8-hr course at Bastyr University sponsored by Thrive Café in Seattle on the basics of raw food nutrition and recipe creation! There are still a few seats available for anyone living in the Pacific Northwest - we'd love to have you join us!
In this class, I join the incredible and inspiring raw foodista, Betty Peralta, as we teach students the basics of raw cuisine, as well as foundational information on what it means to eat raw foods, its many benefits and the equipment commonly used in raw food preparation. In addition of course, students will learn HANDS-ON how to make incredible raw recipes like: • Pasta Pomodoro with Brazil Nut Parmesan • Creamy Red Pepper Veggie Dip • Sprouted Lebanese Hummus • Nut + Fruit Energy bars
And, not to mention some of Thrive’s most popular recipes, such as: • Marinated Kale Salad with Kale Chips and Coconut Maple Chips • Ninja Rolls • Green and not-so-green Smoothies • Non-dairy milk alternatives • Vanilla + Chocolate Macaroons • and Chocolate Mousse Torte!
Phew that's a lot! Students will no doubt walk away with a brand-new culinary skill set and total admiration for the art of raw food cuisine. The class is from 10a-6p followed by a community potluck where family and friends are welcome so they can enjoy the student's culinary creations!
